A Greek in Leicester
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Management - International Business from the American College of Greece and a Master of Arts from the same institution in Communication.
I worked and study full time at the same time which was exhausting but rewarding nevertheless.
I worked for 22 years in a major bank in Greece, where my roles were mainly in Large Corporate Division of Trade Finance and Quality Assurance.

In February 2018, I participated in the Voluntary Exit Scheme of the bank in order to realize my long time dream of pursuing a PhD.
​
I applied to four universities and was accepted in two. Thankfully, my choice was definitely the right for me, as I happen to have three wonderful supervisors and loads of support.
​
I am grateful for everything I have accomplished so far but I'm sure that a lot more great things wait for me along the way.
​
Apart from Greek which is my native language I'm fluent in English and Italian, and I speak rather well Spanish and I have a basic knowledge of French.
​
I enjoy reading, watching films, listening to music and attending concerts, playing video games, and having long walks close to nature and especially next to the sea.
